First and foremost, keep in mind that any semi-permanent makeup will appear darker and much more distinct immediately following the procedure. The intensity of the color or new shape of the treated area might be slightly overwhelming at first. That said, try to remember that 40-50% of the color of your semi-permanent makeup will fade and ultimately appear much more natural when healed.

GENERAL CARE:

For the best results, the development and following of a proper after care routine by the client is not only necessary but an essential component to the procedure. This is because after care directly influences about 70% of the results. During this time, it is essential to avoid direct contact with germ sources. Hygiene during and after a pigmentation is crucial for the reason that hygiene and care errors can have a significant effect on the results. Failure to follow the correct after care instructions may result in unsuccessful or undesired results that may incur additional charges.

Please be aware that the healed result can be influenced or skewed if you are taking antibiotics or hormonal therapy (i.e. the pigment may fade faster or heal at an improper color)

Additionally, the following should be avoided during the first 2 weeks after the procedure

  • Scratching
  • Peeling
  • Scrubbing at the pigmented site
  • Firm Rubbing
  • Constant softening of the face skin with wet compresses
  • Excessive washing or heavy water pressure on the face
  • Waxing, Tweezing or Threading
  • Sweating and Practicing Sports
  • Swimming (Especially in Salt Water or Chlorine Water)
  • Sauna, bath tubs, or jacuzzi
  • Suntanning or Salon Tanning
  • Any laser or chemical treatments
  • Any products that contain Retin A, Active Ingredients, Glycolic or Lactic Acid
  • Any beauty treatments such as facials, massage, lash extensions
  • Drinking Excess Amounts of Alcohol as this may lead to slow healing of the pigmentated area
  • Use of incorrect care products (wound cannot close)
  • Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles or motorcycles
  • The use of decorative or nurturing cosmetics on and around the pigmented areas (cleansing milk, tonic, day/ night cream, mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick)
  • Constant contact with the pigmentation (frequent touching or contact with pet animals)

48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment. If 48 hours’ notice is not received, the full procedure price will be charged.
