GENERAL PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS for PROFESSIONAL
SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP / DERMAPIGMENTATION PROCEDURES
Thank you for choosing to do your permanent makeup procedure at Baroque Beauty Center!
If you are under a Doctor’s care, we require written approval from your Doctor before
booking your Semi-Permanent Makeup Procedure.
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY!
MOST OF THE SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCEDURES REQUIRE 2 SESSIONS, IN SOME SITUATIONS A THIRD SESSION MAY BE NEEDED WITH AN EXTRA CHARGE.
Remember, your initial results are not the final ones, most permanent makeup procedures require more than one session to complete. Follow up visits will be scheduled no sooner than 4 weeks after the first treatment. (as appointments are available). Skin tone varies and the color tone match may not remain consistent between two persons even using the same injected color tone. A bit of redness and swelling are to be expected immediately after treatment, which only lasts for 3-4 hours.
It is very important that you follow the instructions below to ensure that your experience with us is successful and that you achieve the best results for your procedure.
Taking any type of blood thinners before your procedure can be very dangerous and they can cause excessive bleeding and affect the success and longevity of your permanent makeup. In some cases, the procedure must be stopped or the bleeding can affect the color of your makeup, causing it to look gray or blue.
Prior to your procedure refrain from consuming:
- Nicotine (30 minutes before the procedure)
- Pain killers and anti-inflammatories
- Vitamin E Oil Capsules
- Fish Oil Capsules
- Hormone Therapy Pills
Prior to your procedure avoid:
- Salty foods
- Energy drinks
- Green tea or any herbs (3 days prior to your procedure)
- Antibiotics or hormonal therapy
If you have been diagnosed with cancer we recommended that you get permanent makeup BEFORE you start any cancer treatment. If you have already started your cancer treatment please wait until any your treatments are fully completed if you choose to have a procedure done after. Be aware that women that are on or near their menstrual cycle tend to bleed a bit more during the procedure, and numbing agents sometimes do not take as well to women who are menstruating. If you are prone to cold sores, please get a prescription from your doctor and begin taking the medication a minimum of 3 days before the procedure and 3 days after the procedure (for any type of permanent cosmetics, not just for the lips.) If you already have COLD SORES, please wait at least two weeks before ANY procedure or until they have cleared up completely.
Many people in Las Vegas have water softeners in their homes. If this is your case, we recommend that you get a gallon of distilled water to use to clean the area.
Before the day of your procedure please purchase a small bottle of Grape Seed Oil or a tube of Aquaphor (to be used during After Care for all procedures except Eyeliner).
The treatment should be postponed until these conditions are taken care of:
- Acute herpes
- Plastic surgery
- Local infection
- Fresh scars
- Infection from bacteria, fungi, and viruses
- Had botox in the last three weeks
- Used Accutane in the past year
- Skin irritation or psoriasis near the treated area
