Lip Blushing / Ombré Lips
A soft wash of color, concentrated at the lip borders and fading toward your natural tone — lips appear fuller and more defined, naturally. Perfect if you are tired of reapplying lipstick or are unhappy with thin or uneven lips.
Full-Color 3D Volume Lips
Two blended, vibrant pigments fully saturate the lips for a defined, red-carpet look with visible fullness and dimension.
Lip Liner Definition
Crisp, symmetrical definition for uneven lip borders — from a subtle liner to a fully defined shape.
Every shade is custom-blended for your skin tone. We draw the shape and color on first so you can preview and approve the look before we begin. All lip procedures are performed with Nouveau Contour devices.

What to Expect
1. Consultation. We discuss the color, shape, and technique that best suits you.
2. Design preview. We draw the proposed shape and color on your lips temporarily — you approve everything first.
3. Numbing & procedure. Topical anesthetic for your comfort, then precise pigment application.
4. Healing. Expect swelling for 24–48 hours and intense color at first — this is normal. The color softens significantly as lips heal over about 2 weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it look like I’m wearing lipstick?
It can — from a natural blush of color to full lipstick intensity. You choose.
Does it make my lips bigger?
It creates the illusion of fullness through color and definition. It does not add physical volume the way filler does.
Can I still wear lipstick?
Absolutely — permanent color is your base; lipstick goes over it whenever you want a different shade.
How long does it last?
Typically 1–3 years. Sun exposure and lifestyle affect longevity.
What about cold sores?
The procedure can trigger an outbreak if you are prone to them — which is why the antiviral prescription before and after is essential.
Before Your Appointment
- Cold sores: if you are prone to them, get an antiviral prescription from your physician — start 3 days before the procedure and continue for 7–10 days as directed. Do not book with an active cold sore; wait at least 2 weeks after it has fully cleared.
- Lip filler: consult your physician before scheduling. Most physicians suggest waiting 3 weeks after filler injections. Color retention is poor in lips that received filler within the previous 6 months — ideally, do not combine filler and permanent lip color within the same year. Lip implants need about 6 months of healing first.
- Braces, dentures, or tongue piercings may increase infection risk — tell us in advance.
- Avoid 48 hours before: alcohol, marijuana, painkillers/anti-inflammatories.
- Avoid 7 days before: fish oil, vitamin E capsules, blood thinners, antibiotics, hormone therapy.
- Avoid 3 days before: energy drinks, coffee, green tea, herbal stimulants.
- Cancer patients: wait until treatment is fully complete before permanent makeup.
Please postpone your appointment if you have: active herpes, pregnancy or nursing, recent plastic surgery, local infection, fresh scars, sunburn, or skin irritation near the area. Accutane use within the past year.
This procedure is not possible with: keloids, lupus, melanoma or tumors in the treatment area, glaucoma, epilepsy, or certain skin abnormalities.
A doctor’s clearance letter is required for: diabetes, hemophilia, very high blood pressure, chronic illness, chemotherapy, pacemaker or major heart conditions, organ transplant.
Aftercare (Summary)
- Day 1: every 30 minutes for 3 hours — clean with a damp cotton pad, then apply a thin layer of ointment (Vaseline, Aquaphor, or grape seed oil).
- Day 2: clean every 2–3 hours + thin ointment layer.
- Days 3–14: small amount of ointment 2–3 times daily.
- Do not pick flaking skin. Keep lips moisturized, avoid spicy foods and excess sun while healing.
You will receive complete written aftercare instructions at your appointment.
Touch-Ups
A touch-up 6–8 weeks after the initial session perfects the color, if needed. To maintain your lip color long-term, plan a refresh every 1–3 years.
