Your Experience, Step by Step
1. Free consultation. We design your hairline together and match the pigment to your natural hair color and skin tone. You will know exactly what to expect before we begin.
2. Treatment sessions. Most clients complete SMP in 2–3 sessions. Each session builds density gradually for the most natural result. The application is virtually pain-free.
3. Healing. Mild redness for up to 48 hours is normal. Results are visible immediately and are final once all sessions are completed and healed.

Does it hurt?

Will it look natural?
Yes. The pigment is color-matched to your hair and placed to replicate your natural follicle pattern and density.
Do I have to shave my head?
For balding areas, the surrounding hair is shaved so the SMP blends seamlessly. If you only want the illusion of density in thinning hair, shaving is not necessary. For scar camouflage, it depends on your hairstyle.
How long does it last?
SMP is long-lasting. Sun protection and periodic touch-ups keep it looking its best.
Can I combine it with a hair transplant?
Yes — SMP is often used alongside transplantation for a denser appearance.
Before Your Appointment
- Oily skin should be cleansed and stable before treatment to allow even pigment retention.
- Dry skin should be well nourished and moisturized in the days before treatment.
- If your scalp is very dry, red, or itchy with flaking, consult a dermatologist first — it may be seborrheic dermatitis, which should be treated before SMP.
Aftercare
Day of treatment
- Let the treated area rest. Do not touch, wash, or shave it.
- Avoid direct sun, sweating, saunas, and tight headwear.
Days 2–10
- Keep the area dry — no swimming, including chlorinated or salt water.
- Do not shave the treated area and avoid barber visits.
Weeks 2–4
- You may resume washing with a gentle shampoo.
Ongoing
- Protect your scalp with SPF 50 — sun exposure is the main cause of fading.
- Avoid products containing AHAs (glycolic or lactic acids) on the treated area.
If you notice spreading redness, swelling, warmth, or discharge, contact your physician immediately — these can be signs of infection.
You will receive complete written aftercare instructions at your appointment.
Touch-Ups & Maintenance
SMP is completed in stages: the initial session plus touch-up sessions typically scheduled 7–20 days apart. Your result is judged only after all sessions are completed and healed. At your final visit, we will establish a long-term maintenance schedule to keep your look sharp.

Appointment policy: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend your session, and the full service price will apply. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations so we can offer your slot to someone on the waiting list. Late cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
