A healthy, youthful glow — built into your cheeks.

At Baroque Beauty Center, Antonio Baroque — certified micropigmentation technician — will give your skin a healthy, younger-looking glow with permanent blush pigmentation and micro-needling. These two beauty treatments can be completed in one session.

If you are allergic to makeup, would rather not apply blush every day, or simply want an everyday natural glow, permanent blush is a great procedure for you. We apply the perfect shade to accent your cheeks without looking painted-on.

Your permanent blush is applied with micro-pigmentation after you have tried some temporary shades — so make sure you choose a color you can live with every day. Remember: you can always apply makeup over it for a brighter or more dramatic look. With permanent blush, you wake up every day looking young and refreshed.

What Is Permanent Blush?

Permanent blush is soft pigment applied to the cheeks to create a natural, healthy flush of color — from a barely-there glow to a more defined finish, customized to your skin tone and style.

Two Treatments in One Session

Blush pigmentation: Custom-shaded pigment is applied with micro-pigmentation for color that stays — no daily application, no smudging.

Micro-needling: Gently stimulates the skin for a fresher, more radiant appearance, complementing the blush pigment.

Perfect For

  • Clients allergic to makeup or sensitive to daily cosmetics
  • Busy, active lifestyles — a glow that does not need reapplying
  • Cheeks that need a healthy lift of color
  • Anyone who wants to wake up looking fresh and refreshed

What to Expect

1. Consultation & shade trial. We try temporary shades on your cheeks so you can see the color before anything permanent.

2. Design approval. You approve the shade and placement first — nothing is permanent until you do.

3. Numbing & procedure. Topical anesthetic for your comfort, then precise micro-pigmentation with single-use, sterile tools.

4. Healing. Mild redness for a few days is normal. The color softens as the skin heals over about 2 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it look like I’m wearing makeup? It can be as subtle as a natural flush or slightly more defined — you choose the shade.

Can I still wear regular blush? Absolutely — makeup goes over the permanent color whenever you want a brighter or more dramatic look.

Does it hurt? Topical numbing keeps the procedure comfortable — most clients describe it as very mild.

How long does it last? Typically 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Color refreshes maintain it.

I have oily skin — is anything different? Oily skin may require an additional touch-up session three months after the initial session.

Before Your Appointment

  • Avoid 3 days before: energy drinks, coffee, green tea, herbal stimulants.
  • Do not arrive with sunburn or irritated skin on the cheeks.

Please postpone your appointment if you have: active herpes or cold sores, pregnancy or nursing, recent plastic surgery, local infection, fresh scars, sunburn, or skin irritation in the treatment area.

This procedure is not possible with: keloids, lupus, melanoma or tumors in the treatment area, or certain skin abnormalities.

A doctor’s clearance letter is required for: diabetes, hemophilia, very high blood pressure, chronic illness, chemotherapy, pacemaker or major heart conditions, organ transplant.

Aftercare (Summary)

  • Day 1: every hour for 4 hours — clean the treated area with a damp cotton pad using medium pressure to remove the lymph.
  • Days 2–10: apply a thin layer of ointment (Vaseline, Aquaphor, or grapeseed oil) 2–3 times daily.
  • No makeup on the cheeks until fully healed; avoid direct sun, and do not pick, peel, or scratch flaking skin.

You will receive complete written aftercare instructions at your appointment.

Touch-Ups

A touch-up 6–8 weeks after the initial session perfects the result, if needed. Clients with oily skin may require an additional touch-up session three months after the initial session. To maintain your glow long-term, plan a color refresh every 1–3 years.
