Project Description
Waxing
Waxing
Smooth skin, professional technique — for women and men.
Waxing is a wonderful way to remove unwanted hair. The skilled aestheticians at Baroque Beauty Center use both soft and hard wax — hard wax for those sensitive areas — so every treatment is matched to your skin and the area being treated. Hygiene comes first: we maintain a clean treatment area and never reuse wax. You will leave with smooth, hair-free skin.
Perfect For
- Smooth, hair-free skin that lasts for weeks
- Facial and body areas, including sensitive areas treated with gentle hard wax
- Both women and men
- Anyone who prefers longer-lasting results than shaving
What to Expect
1. Skin check. We confirm the area is suitable for waxing and choose the right wax for your skin.
2. Preparation. The skin is cleansed and prepped for a clean, even result.
3. Application & removal. Wax is applied and removed efficiently to minimize discomfort.
4. Soothing finish. We calm the skin and walk you through simple aftercare so your results last.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does waxing hurt? You will feel a brief sting as the hair is removed — most clients find it very manageable, and it gets easier with regular visits as hair grows back finer.
How long should my hair be? Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long — about the length of a grain of rice — so the wax can grip it properly.
How often should I wax? Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on the area and their hair growth. We will recommend a schedule that keeps you smooth.
Can I wax if I use retinoids or Accutane? Tell us about any prescription skin products before booking — retinoids and Accutane can make skin too sensitive for waxing, and we may need to postpone your treatment.
Is there anything I should avoid before my appointment? Avoid sunburn on the area, skip caffeine the day of your visit, and exfoliate 24–48 hours beforehand — full details are on the Care tab.
