What to Expect

1. Consultation & skin assessment. We evaluate your skin and customize the treatment plan for your concerns.

2. Numbing. A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area for your comfort.

3. Treatment. A customized serum cocktail — selected for your skin condition — is applied and absorbed during the procedure. Every treatment uses a single, sealed, disposable, sterilized cartridge with ultra-fine needles, adjusted in speed and depth for your skin.

4. Recovery. Immediately after, skin feels tight, dry, swollen, and sensitive to the touch. Redness and sensitivity typically diminish within 24 hours. Mild itching, discomfort, bruising, or flaking can occur over the next 2–7 days as the skin renews itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does microneedling hurt? A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and most clients find the procedure very tolerable.

How many sessions will I need? Treatments are typically scheduled every 3–4 weeks. Facial rejuvenation and acne scarring usually take about 5 sessions; scars and stretch marks can take up to 10.

When will I see results? Many clients notice a fresh glow within days. Because collagen builds gradually, the most visible improvements develop over the following weeks — and results are best after a full series.

Can I combine microneedling with filler or injectables? Yes — wait at least 10 days after microneedling before any filler or injectable treatment.

Can I wear makeup after treatment? No makeup for 24–72 hours. After 72 hours, mineral makeup applied with a clean brush is fine.

Care

Before Your Appointment

Do not use Retin-A, retinol, or vitamin A creams for 3–5 days before treatment.
If you are prone to cold sores: get an antiviral prescription from your physician — begin 3 days before treatment and continue for a 7–10 day course as directed.
Avoid tanning in the treatment area before your appointment.
Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup.

Aftercare (Summary)

Clean: wash gently a few times after treatment and before bed — gentle cleanser, tepid water, clean hands. No cleansing brushes for 1 week.
Heal & hydrate: use collagen-stimulating peptide products, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidant serums. An occlusive balm (such as Aquaphor) may be recommended after more intensive treatments. Hydrocortisone cream or aloe can ease discomfort if skin feels sensitive.
Avoid for 10–14 days: fragrance, AHAs, BHAs, retinol, vitamin C, alcohol-based toners, scrubs, and other “active” skincare.
Makeup: none for 24–72 hours; after 72 hours, mineral makeup with a clean brush.
Protect: avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 72 hours. After that, wear sunscreen daily — a chemical-free formula is recommended. No tanning beds.
No sauna, jacuzzi, or swimming for 72 hours. No exercise for 72 hours (sweat and bacteria can irritate healing skin).
Wait at least 10 days after microneedling before filler or injectable treatments.
